Slade Bolden is a wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. He attended Alabama during his college football career.

Bolden spent his childhood in West Monroe, Louisiana, and went to West Monroe High School, where he competed in both the baseball and football departments.

During his junior season, he played both quarterback and receiver, and he carried for 1,370 yards and 24 touchdowns, threw for 906 yards and nine touchdown passes, and caught 15 receptions for 248 yards and four touchdowns.



He also had 906 yards passing and nine touchdown passes. Bolden was voted the Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year after he finished his senior year by passing for 1,622 yards and scoring 20 touchdowns, as well as rushing for 1,460 yards and scoring 20 touchdowns on the ground.

He was considered a three-star prospect and ultimately chose to play college football at Alabama rather than TCU or LSU, both of which had extended offers to him.

Before deciding to sit out the year as a redshirt, Bolden saw action in the first game of the season, which was played against Louisville. As a redshirt freshman, he scored a touchdown by completing a pass of six yards, catching two passes for 34 yards, and rushing four times for 10 yards as a wildcat quarterback.
