Is Adam Shaheen still in the NFL?

Adam Shaheen is presently a tight end with the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins. His birthday is October 24, 1994.

After earning a degree in football from Ashland University, the Chicago Bears picked him in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

In the modern period, he was the first player from Ashland to be taken in the first round of an NFL draft. Shaheen attended Big Walnut High School, situated in Sunbury, Ohio.



He participated in the high school football and basketball teams. Shaheen enrolled and competed in the collegiate basketball program at the University of Pittsburgh in Johnstown for one year.

In 2014, he moved to Ashland University, where he instantly joined the football team as a walk-on. He concluded his career with 129 receptions, 1,755 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns on 26 of those receptions.

After the completion of the 2016 season, Shaheen decided to forego his senior year of college and enter the 2017 NFL Draft.

Shaheen was dealt to the Miami Dolphins on July 26, 2020, for a conditional seventh-round selection.

In Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers, he scored his first touchdown with the Dolphins in a 43–17 win.  Shaheen signed a two-year, $7.65 million contract deal with the Dolphins on October 28, 2020.

Adam Shaheen is still playing for the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League. According to sources, Miami extended Shaheen’s contract in 2021 after obtaining him from the Bears and subsequently signing him.
