Austin Hedges whose real name is Austin Charles Hedges is known to be an American professional baseball catcher who plays for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball. He was born on August 18, 1992 in San Juan Capistrano, California in the United States.

The San Diego Padres selected him in the second round of the Major League Baseball draft in 2011 out of JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, California, and that marked the beginning of his career as a professional baseball player. He signed a $3 million contract with the Padres despite being committed to UCLA.

Hedges, Josh Naylor, Cal Quantrill, and the minor leaguers Joey Cantillo, Owen Miller, and Gabriel Arias were all traded by the Padres to the Cleveland Indians on August 31, 2020 in exchange for Mike Clevinger, Greg Allen, and Matt Waldron. Hedges played in 6 games for Cleveland in 2020, batting.083 with 0 RBIs and 0 home runs overall. He has been tremendous all along.
