Is CJ Mosley retired?

For the New York Jets of the National Football League, C. J. Mosley plays linebacker. He was raised in Theodore, Alabama, an American city. He stands 1.88 meters tall and weighs 113 kg. He participated in football, basketball, and track at Theodore High School. He picked up 112 tackles, four sacks, and one interception for the 6-5 Bobcats as a sophomore, who lost to Auburn in the opening round of the Class 6A playoffs.

With 176 tackles during his junior season, he set a school record. He also added 17 tackles for loss, seven sacks, forced four turnovers, recovered two more, and intercepted two passes. These accomplishments earned him an ASWA 6A All-State selection.

From 2010 to 2013, he was a member of the University of Alabama’s Alabama Crimson Tide football team. He participated in each of the 13 games as a true freshman in 2010, earning a spot on the FWAA, Rivals.com, and College Football News unanimous Freshman All-American team. He was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

In 2014, Mosley was selected as the fourth linebacker. Additionally, he was one of the eight Crimson Tide athletes from Alabama that were chosen that year. He signed a four-year, $8.87 million contract with the Ravens in May 2014, which included a $4.71 million signing bonus. He agreed to a five-year, $85 million contract with the New York Jets in March 2019.
