Is Cody Ford injured?

Cody Ford, an offensive guard for the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals, was born on December 28, 1996. At Oklahoma, he played collegiate football. Ford had committed to TCU during his recruitment process before switching to the Oklahoma Sooners.

Ford started the first three games of the 2016 season for Oklahoma after redshirting the 2015 campaign. However, he broke his fibula against Ohio State and was forced to miss the remainder of the year.

The Buffalo Bills selected Ford with the 38th overall pick in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft During his first season, Ford split his time between guard and tackle, but after starter Ty Nsekhe injured his ankle, Ford spent more time there.

Ford started at right guard for the Bills in the 2020 season. In Week 3, he took Quinton Spain’s job at left guard.

He played in three of the following four games after missing the first four, which he began. Ford tore his meniscus during practice before Week 12 and was put on injured reserve on November 28.

Ford was flagged for an illegal blindside block during Buffalo’s Wild Card Round playoff loss to the Houston Texans as the Bills were moving into field goal range in overtime.

Ford (ankle) was placed on injured reserve by the Cardinals on Saturday, according to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com. Ford unexpectedly showed up on Arizona’s injury report on Thursday and was placed on injured reserve two days later.

The reserve guard is required to sit out at least the first four games of the season as a result of the deal.
