Wide receiver Denzel Jeremiah Mims plays for the National Football League’s New York Jets. Denzel Jeremiah Mims, his full name, was born on October 10th, 1997.

He played collegiate football at Baylor University. Mims attended Daingerfield High School in Daingerfield, Texas, where they completed their secondary education.

He was a talented athlete who excelled at both wide receiver and safety. He has verbally agreed to represent Baylor University in collegiate football. Mims participated in basketball and track & field in high school.

Mims played in 11 games as a true freshman at Baylor before taking over as the starter his sophomore year. He started 10 of the 12 games his squad played in 2018 while still a junior.

He had 55 receptions for 794 yards and eight touchdowns towards the end of the season. For his senior year, Mims was back and started all 13 games.

He had 66 receptions for 1,020 yards and 12 touchdowns by the end of the season. The 2020 Sugar Bowl featured a contest between the Baylor Bears and the Georgia Bulldogs, two teams with records of 11-2, and marked the end of his collegiate career.
