Jake Kumerow, a wide receiver still plays for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. Jake Anthony Kumerow was born in Bartlett, Illinois, on February 17, 1992, in the United States.
Prior to 2021, he returned to the Bills after that stay. In 15 games last year, Kumerow made two catches for a total of 28 yards. He scored a touchdown for Buffalo in 2021. Kumerow’s biggest contribution to the Bills is on special teams.
He is the offspring of the late Miami Dolphins linebacker Eric Kumerow. Jake Kumerow has a younger brother named Derek who plays football for Whitewater and a sister named Cortney who was an All-American basketball player for UW-Whitewater.
Jake Kumerow went to South Elgin High School in Illinois. He first attended Illinois and participated in collegiate football. Later, he transferred to the NCAA Division III Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks.
Kumerow was an undrafted free agent and he signed a deal with the Cincinnati Bengals on May 8, 2015. He has also participated in games for the New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers, and New England Patriots.
Kumerow and the Buffalo Bills agreed to a reserve/futures contract on January 26, 2021. Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Bills, once quipped that Kumerow was his favorite wide receiver because of the fact that the only catch he made for the team during the regular season resulted in a touchdown.
Kumerow and the Bills agreed to a one-year contract extension on March 10, 2022. On June 16, 2022, he was released, but later that day, as part of a routine roster management procedure, he was re-signed.
