Baseball player Jesus Aguilar, sometimes known as Jess Alexander Aguilar, hails from Venezuela. He is the first baseman for the Miami Marlins baseball team. He was born on June 30, 1990, in the Venezuelan town of Maracay.

Jesus played baseball as a hobby throughout his nation. The Cleveland Indians signed him as an amateur free agent in 2007. His first two professional seasons were forced by the Indians to be played with the Dominican Summer League Indians. During the 2011 minor league season, he split his time between the Lake County Captains of the Class A Midwest League and the Kinston Indians of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League.

He was given a non-roster invitation by the Indians to attend their 2013 spring training. He was given the Akron Aeros of the Class AA Eastern League to play for that season. In May 2014, the Indians promoted him to the major leagues after adding him to their 40-man roster in November 2013.

On May 15, 2014, Jesus played for the Indians in his MLB debut. The Milwaukee Brewers picked him up off waivers in February 2017. He played for the Brewers for two seasons before being dealt to the Tampa Bay Rays in July 2019. In December 2019, the Miami Marlins picked him up off waivers.
