Is Nick Boyle still with the Ravens?

Nick Boyle

Nicholas Ryan Boyle, a tight end for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens, was born on February 17, 1993. At Delaware, he played collegiate football. Boyle was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens with the 171st overall choice in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

He was the second tight end selected by the Ravens in the draft after Minnesota’s Maxx Williams, who was taken ninth overall (second round, 55th overall). He joined forces with fellow Delaware alumnus Joe Flacco as the 27th player selected from that state.

Boyle and the Baltimore Ravens agreed to a four-year, $2.44 million contract on May 7, 2015, which also included a $166,254 signing bonus.

Boyle and the Ravens reached a two-year, $13 million contract extension on January 29, 2021.
Boyle’s contract is extended by this new agreement through the end of the 2023 campaign. Boyle started the season on short-term injured reserve on September 10, 2021.

He becomes operational on November 8, 2021. Boyle is seen as an important contributor to the Ravens’ success in the running game since Lamar Jackson took over as the team’s main quarterback.

Boyle is primarily used as a blocker on offense and special teams rather than as an offensive target. He is regarded as one of the NFL’s best blocking tight ends.
