Dallas Cowboys general manager Jerry Jones reached into the pool of undrafted USC Trojans athletes. Isaac Taylor-Stuart, who was not selected by any team at the 2022 NFL draft, is rumored to have signed a deal with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent following the draft.
After stunning everyone with his incredible 40-yard sprint performance at the NFL combine, Taylor-Stuart was arguably the most unexpected Trojan player to go undrafted over the weekend.
Even though he was projected to go in the first few rounds of the draft in several mock drafts, he went undrafted and had to settle for a UDFA contract. Even though Taylor-Stuart was linked to multiple clubs in various mock drafts, he was not taken, which is the biggest surprise for USC players this weekend.
Yet, among the undrafted Trojans, Taylor-Stuart has the best chance of making the 53-man roster and seeing action in his first season.
