The Arizona Cardinals’ inside linebacker Isaiah Simmons is well-known for his work in the National Football League. 108 kg is his weight and 1.93 m is his height. The month of July 1998 saw his birth in Omaha, Nebraska. He participated in football as a defensive back and wide receiver when a student at Olathe North High School in Olathe, Kansas. In February 2016, he made his college commitment to Clemson. He was a member of the Clemson Tigers football team while there.

His first year at Clemson in 2016 was spent as a redshirt. He participated in 14 games in 2017 as a safety, making 49 tackles and one sack. He switched positions in 2018 and played linebacker. He finished the season with 15 games, 97 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and one interception. 2019 saw him come back to Clemson.

Instead of participating in the 2019 NFL Draft, he went back to Clemson in 2019. For his efforts that year, he was given the Butkus Award as the finest linebacker in the country. Simmons declared for the 2020 NFL Draft after receiving his degree in sports communication in December of last year, forgoing his senior year. He took part in the 2020 NFL Combine and ran the fastest 40-yard time among linebackers, clocking in at 4.39 seconds.

He was selected by the Arizona Cardinals with the eighth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, which was held virtually due to social distance rules brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. He was one of 58 players invited to the event.
