J.D. Davis is currently a third baseman with the New York Mets at the moment. The Mets acquired J.D. Davis in February, and in 25-year-old made his Major League debut with the Houston Astros.
Jonathan Gregory Davis was born on April 27, 1993, to Greg and MaryJo Davis, and grew up with a younger brother, Ben.
At Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove, California, he was a four-year letter winner for the Thundering Herd. Davis was drafted in the fifth round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft by the Tampa Bay Rays, but he did not sign.
He subsequently went to California State University, Fullerton, where he studied business and played collegiate baseball from 2012 to 2014.
He was picked again in 2014, this time by the Houston Astros with the first overall pick in the third round (75th overall).
Following that, he divided the year between the low-A Quad City River Bandits and the high-A Tri-City Valley Cats.

One of the best pitchers in UCSB softball history, Shelby was also a student-athlete like her boyfriend. Shelby Wisdom was born to Tommy and Joylynn Wisdom on May 3, 1995.
The three of them are called Melissa, Janelle, and Thomas, and they all live in California. After graduating from Elk Grove High School, Wisdom went on to get a degree in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Master’s degree in Science from National University. The Center for Behavior Solutions is where she works as a Behavior Analyst and Specialist.
