Joshua Dobbie “J. D” McKissic is a running back with the National Football League’s Washington Commanders. The man is 1.78 m tall and weighs 88 kg. His alma mater was Central High School, where he also played football. After high school, he enrolled at Arkansas State University and participated in collegiate athletics with the Arkansas State Red Wolves.

As a redshirt freshman in 2012 with 103 receptions and 1,022 receiving yards, he was named the Sun Belt Freshman of the Year and a Scripps Freshman All-American. With 289 receptions for 2,838 yards and 11 touchdowns, he completed his college career. Following his undrafted status in the 2016 NFL Draft, McKissic signed with the Atlanta Falcons. In December 2016, the Seattle Seahawks took him off waivers. The Detroit Lions picked him up off waivers in September 2019.
