Jace Peterson

Jace Peterson, full name Jace Ryan Peterson was born on May 9, 1990, in Lake Charles, Louisiana in the United States. He is one of the professional baseball players in the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team. Jace plays as a second baseman for the Brewers.

He attended Hamilton Christian Academy where he played baseball for the school’s baseball team. When he completed, he enrolled at McNeese State University, where he played college baseball for the McNeese State Cowboys. When he graduated from college, he was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the supplemental first round of the 2011 MLB draft.

He agreed to play for them and signed with the team for a $624,600 signing bonus. Jace made his professional debut that year with the Eugene Emeralds. The following season, he played for the Fort Wayne TinCaps and spent the 2013 season with the Lake Elsinore Storms. In 2014, he was assigned to the Double-A San Antonio Missions.

The Padres promoted him to the major leagues in April 2014 and he made his MLB debut on April 25, 2014. His contract was traded to the Atlanta Braves in December 2014. He was invited to the Padres’ spring training and made the Braves’ Opening Day roster. The New York Yankees signed him on a minor league contract in January 2018.

The contract included an invitation to spring training. He was promoted to the major leagues by the Yankees on April 7 2018. That same month, he was claimed off waivers by the Baltimore Orioles and in December 2019, he signed a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers.
