Jace Peterson

Jace Ryan Peterson (born May 9, 1990) is an American professional baseball second baseman for the Major League Baseball Milwaukee Brewers (MLB).

Peterson made his professional debut in 2011 with the Eugene Emeralds. He appeared in 73 games and batted.243/360/.333 with two home runs in 276 at-bats.\

He previously played for the San Diego Padres, Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees, and Baltimore Orioles in Major League Baseball.  After graduating, Peterson went on to play football and baseball for the McNeese State Cowboys.

On April 25, 2014, Peterson was promoted from Double-A to the Majors for the first time after Chase Headley strained his calf. Before being optioned to Triple-A, he made seven starts at third base. On June 4th, he was recalled.

Peterson signed a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers on December 17, 2019. His contract was added to the active roster on August 22, 2020, to replace Brock Holt, who was designated for assignment. The Brewers did not tender Peterson on December 2, 2020.

Jace Peterson was born on May 9, 1990, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, as the eldest of three children to Scott and Shawn Peterson. He was a three-sport athlete at Hamilton Christian Academy in his hometown, playing baseball, basketball, and football.

Baseball celebrity Jace Peterson was born with three other siblings. Eric Peterson, Kyle Peterson, and Brent Peterson are Jace Peterson’s three brothers.
