Jace Whittaker, an American cornerback, plays for the Arizona Cardinals in the National Football League. He is 1.80 m tall and 84 kg. While a student at Oceanside High School, he participated in football. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the University of Arizona, where he played collegiate football for the Arizona Wildcats.
He played in 11 games as a freshman, making 23 tackles and intercepting four passes. As a senior in 2019, he played in 49 games and accumulated 159 tackles, six tackles for loss, a sack, seven interceptions, and 41 passes deflected. A career-high 55 tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack, and nine passes defended were also among his accomplishments.
Whittaker signed a free agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals in April 2020, following the 2020 NFL Draft. He was let go after the final roster cuts on September 5, 2020. He became a member of the team’s practice squad the next day. He was added to the list of the active players on October 3, 2020, and January 2, 2021. He signed a reserve/future contract on January 5, 2021.
The following day, he was instantly re-signed to the practice squad after being released by the Cardinals in August 2021. He and the Cardinals reached an agreement on a reserve/future deal in January 2022. In August 2022, the Cardinals dismissed him, and the next day they signed him to their practice squad.
