He participated in 13 games and one start for the Sun Devils during his junior season. As a senior in 2020, he only participated in 2 games while making a total of 5 tackles. He came back to play for Arizona State in 2021 while a graduate student, compiling 42 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and a strip sack. Following his 2021 season performance, the Pac-12 nominated him as an Honorable Mention Defensive Back.
The New England Patriots selected him in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He formally inked his rookie contract with the Patriots in June 2022. A $746,984 signing bonus and a salary of $3.6 million over 4 years were included in the agreement.
