Additionally, he was listed as the No. 26 offensive guard in California and No. 54 overall by Rivals. After leaving high school, he participated in NCAA football with the University of Oregon’s Oregon Ducks. As a freshman in college, he participated in six games, starting one of them. On 105 of those snaps, he was predominantly at right guard but also played right tackle.

At right guard, where he made his debut, he played a season-high 47 snaps. He played in 15 games and made one start for the Ducks against UCLA in his final two seasons there. He was named to the Dean’s List three times and received honorable mention for the Pac-12 All-Academic team twice. He joined the Buffalo Bills’ practice squad in November.
