Jacob Capra’s senior year at San Diego State was spent playing football alongside his brother. Jake Hanson, who is now the starting center for the Packers, was Capra’s teammate during his first three seasons at Oregon.

Capra spent the first three seasons of his college career at Oregon, where he played alongside current Packers center Jake Hanson.

Having completed his undergraduate studies, he then made the decision to transfer to San Diego State for the 2019 season, which was the same year that his younger brother Joey was serving as a redshirt freshman.



During his debut season, the older Capra made starts at left tackle for four games and right tackle for two games.

In 2020, he established himself as the left guard for the team. According to Pro Football Focus, he was able to earn some all-Mountain West Conference accolades while allowing no sacks and only two pressures on the quarterback.

The Capra family lived together in a two-bedroom apartment, and when they weren’t concentrating on football and schoolwork, they enjoyed activities such as boogie boarding and snorkeling.

At his pro day, Capra measured 6-foot-5 1/8 inches tall, 300 pounds, and 33 1/4 inches in his arms. He completed the 40-yard dash in 5.29 seconds and the 225-pound bench press with 27 repetitions.
