In the National Football League, quarterback Jake Fromm plays for the Washington Commanders. He is 1.88 meters tall and 98 kilograms in weight. In high school, he participated in football at Houston County High School. He finished his high school career with 12,745 passing yards and 116 touchdowns. Right out of high school, Scout.com and Rivals.com classified him as a five-star talent.
At the University of Georgia, he played collegiate football for the Georgia Bulldogs. He made the decision to miss his senior year at Georgia in order to declare for the 2020 NFL Draft in January 2020. In the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, he was selected by the Buffalo Bills with the 167th overall pick.
He was cut by the Bills on August 31, 2021, and the following day he was re-signed to the practice squad. He was signed by the New York Giants on November 30, 2021, and in Week 16 of that season, against the Philadelphia Eagles, he made his first career start. In 17 attempts over 25 yards, he had one interception.
He completed 27 passes for 210 yards, a touchdown, and three interceptions as the 2021 season came to an end. He became a free agent after the Giants chose not to tender him a contract in March 2022. On October 18, 2022, he agreed to join the Washington Commanders’ practice squad.
