He was born on July 7, 1998 in Richmond, Virginia in the United States of America. He had his high school education at Lloyd C. Bird High School and played football there.
When he completed high school, he played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team at Notre Dame University from 2016 to 2019. He was named a captain for Notre Dame during his senior year in 2019.
In May 2020, Elliott signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent after the 2020 NFL Draft. In September 2020, he was released by the Lions. He was signed to the active roster in November 2021. In May 2022, the Lions waived Elliott to make room for their rookie class. In August 2022, Elliott signed with the New England Patriots. He was waived on August 20, 2022.
