He started his collegiate football career in Alabama, where he played for three seasons. He spent his final year of eligibility at Oklahoma,

where the Sooners went on to win the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2018 and he was a member of the team that did it. Soon after the conclusion of his first year with the Eagles,
