The National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals have Jalen Thompson on their roster as a safety. At 1.80 m tall and 86 kilograms, he is quite tall. As a sophomore at La Serna High School, where he was recognized as All-San Gabriel Valley League honorable mention, he played football. He transferred to Downey High School after his sophomore year, where he played cornerback and wide receiver and was selected All-CIF and All-San Gabriel Valley League in his junior and senior years.

In the 2020 season, he will serve as the Cardinals’ primary strong safety. On September 2, 2022, he extended his contract with the Cardinals for a further three years and $40 million, which included $24.5 million in guaranteed payments.
