Jalen Tolbert, a wide receiver in the NFL, competes for the Dallas Cowboys. He weighs 91 kilograms and stands 1.85 meters tall. At McGill-Toolen Catholic High School, he participated in football, basketball, and baseball. By the end of his senior year, he had scored nine touchdowns and gained 696 yards on 37 receptions.
When he was a two-star prospect for football, he committed to play for Jacksonville State, but in the end he chose to attend the University of South Alabama. As a member of the South Alabama Jaguars, he played collegiate football there. He redshirted his true freshman year due to a knee injury he had in preseason training camp.
In his first game as a starter as a redshirt sophomore, he hauled in 27 passes for 521 yards and six scores. In 2021, he broke his own school records with 82 receptions for 1,474 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
He was once more named first-team All-Sun Belt and the conference’s Offensive Player of the Year. He received his degree in leisure studies in May 2021, and he is presently pursuing an additional degree in interdisciplinary studies. A third-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Tolbert was selected by the Dallas Cowboys.
