James Bradberry was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the second round (62nd overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft. The cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles is currently in his seventh season in the NFL.

Bradberry was a multi-sport athlete at Pleasant Grove High School, where he played football and basketball. As a senior at Pleasant Grove High School, James Bradberry racked up 45 tackles, 11 pass breakups, and nine interceptions during his time on the varsity football team.

In 2010, he was recognized as All-Metro and first-team All-State, and as a senior, he was selected to serve as captain of his team. Bradberry received numerous awards at Pleasant Grove High including the Jamal Jordan Classic Award. He was also rated as a two-star recruit by Rivals.com.



James Bradberry attended Samford University and played for Samford Bulldogs. During his sophomore year, he played cornerback and started all 11 games that the team played.

He made a total of 32 tackles, including 22 solo stops, as well as two interceptions and two breakups of passes during the game.

In the game against West Alabama, Bradberry recorded a total of six tackles and one tackle for a loss, earning him a spot on the All-Freshman team for the Southern Conference.
