James Kaprielian Children: Does James Kaprielian Have Any Kids?

An injured lat muscle delayed his return to the field for a few months in 2019, but he made a full recovery in time to start the season.

That year, he pitched in all three levels of the minor league system: Single A, Double A, and Triple A, the latter two of which were his first stops in the professional ranks.

With 16 appearances, he finished with an overall record of 4-3, 3.18. As the season progressed and he rose through the ranks, his best ERA came while pitching for the Stockton Ports of the California League’s lowest level.

In spite of the fact that he threw just 68 innings, his K/W ratio of 75/16 was a positive sign.

The global coronavirus pandemic canceled the minor league season in 2020, therefore he couldn’t continue to grow his strength in the minors for another year.

As an alternative to the A’s regular training facility, he began the season at the A’s alternate training facility and made his major league debut in August.

He had two appearances in the majors, with no wins and three earned runs in three and a half innings.

When the minor league season began in May of 2021, he was assigned to the AAA Las Vegas Aviators and made just one start before being called up to Oakland on May 12th.

His father was in the stands at Fenway Park to support him, and he pitched well against the Boston Red Sox, allowing just one run on four hits in five innings while striking out six to earn credit for his team’s 4-1 victory. He was backed by his father.

Kaprielian is descended from the state’s large Armenian-American population, as his surname suggests.
