James Marinan (born October 10, 1998) is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Cincinnati Reds of the Major League Baseball (MLB).
Marinan attended Park Vista Community High School in Lake Worth, Florida, where he graduated. During the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft, he was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the fourth round of the first round.
The Los Angeles Dodgers traded Marinan and Aneurys Zabala to the Cincinnati Reds on July 4, 2018, in exchange for Dylan Floro and Zach Neal.
Marinan will be added to the Reds’ 40-man roster following the 2021 season, according to the team.
