James Krittipum Norwood was born on December 24, 1993, he is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Chicago Cubs and San Diego Padres.



Norwood was chosen by the Chicago Cubs in the seventh round of the 2014 MLB draft. He signed with the Cubs and spent his rookie season with the Arizona League Cubs and the Boise Hawks, finishing 0–2 with a 7.65 ERA in 20 innings pitched.

On April 5, 2021, the Cubs traded Norwood to the San Diego Padres in exchange for Dauris Valdez. The Padres promoted him to the major leagues on June 16.

On March 30, 2022, Norwood was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for Kervin Pichardo and cash considerations.
