James Proche II is a wide receiver and return specialist for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens. He is 91 kg and 1.80 meters tall. On September 21, 1996, he was born in the American city of Dallas, Texas. Due to academic issues at Prime Prep, James spent his junior year at Red Oak High School before transferring for his senior year to DeSoto High School.

He only played in seven games during his one season with the Eagles at DeSoto because to kidney failure he acquired during summer training camp, but he caught 18 passes for 335 yards and a touchdown. He attended Southern Methodist University after graduating from high school and played football there for the SMU Mustangs.

He played in the season after taking a redshirt as a true freshman, finishing second on the team with 57 receptions, 709 yards, and six touchdown catches. He caught 40 passes for 816 yards and six touchdowns as a redshirt sophomore. He led the team with 93 receptions for 1,199 yards and 12 touchdowns during his redshirt junior season, earning a spot on the American Athletic Conference’s first team (AAC).

In the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, he was selected by the Baltimore Ravens. On September 13, 2020, in the first game of the season, he played in his first NFL game against the Cleveland Browns.
