Wide receiver and return specialist for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League, James Proche II plays for the American football team known as the Ravens (NFL).
He received a football scholarship to play for the SMU Mustangs during his time in college and was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the NFL Draft in 2020.
Proche spent his childhood in Dallas, Texas, where he attended Red Oak High School for three years before moving on to DeSoto High School for his last year of high school owing to academic issues with Prime Prep.

Proche caught 40 receptions during his redshirt freshman season for a total of 816 yards and six touchdowns. His average of 20.4 yards per reception ranked 13th best in the NCAA
. During his redshirt junior season, he led the team in receptions, yards, and touchdowns with 93, 1,199, and 12, respectively.
