Jared Solomon is known to be an American born professional baseball player who plays as a pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds baseball team. He was born and raised in Millville and had his high school career at Millville Area Junior-Senior High School in Millville, Pennsylvania.

When he completed high school, he continued at Alderson Broaddus University and Lackawanna College where he played college baseball in both places. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds during the 2017 MLB draft where he was selected in the 11th round of the draft.

He agreed to play for them and signed with them. He started his professional career that season playing with the Arizona League Reds. He spent the 2018 season with both the Billings Mustangs and the Dayton Dragons.

Jared spent the 2019 minor league season,  playing between Dayton and the Daytona Tortugas. The 2020 minor league season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic thus he did not play a minor league game in 2020. When the season ended, the Reds added him to their 40-man roster.

The Reds selected his contract and promoted him to the major leagues on May 7, 2022. He made his MLB debut that same day for the Reds.
