For the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, Javon Wims plays wide receiver professionally. He is 1.8 m tall and 100 kg in weight. Edward H. White High School was his alma mater, where he also participated in football. At Hinds Community Collegiate, he played college football in 2015. On six catches in the season opener versus Holmes in 2015, he accumulated 107 yards and two scores.

He received first team honors for All-State and All-Region in that year, and the South Division named him its Most Outstanding Offensive Player. He extended his football career at the University of Georgia in February 2016 by signing his national letter of intent on National Signing Day.

In February 2016, he resumed his career by playing for the Georgia Bulldogs at the University of Georgia. He was the Bulldogs’ top receiver at the end of the 2017 campaign with 45 grabs for 720 yards and 7 touchdowns. Wims was chosen by the Chicago Bears in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. In August 2021, the Bears released him from his contract.

In September 2021, he joined the Las Vegas Raiders’ practice squad. His release took place in March 2022. On April 20, 2022, the Cleveland Browns acquired him. The Browns let him go from his post in August 2022. On September 15, 2022, he was added to the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad.
