One of the professional football players for the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons is Jaylinn Hawkins. He takes the safety position on the field. He stands 1.85 meters tall and weighs 94 kilograms. He participated in football for the school’s football squad while attending Buena Park High School. 2015 saw his graduation. At the University of California, Berkeley, he participated in collegiate football for the California Golden Bears football team.

In his actual freshman year, he redshirted. He was selected to the preseason second team All-Pac-12 ahead of the 2019 campaign. During his 13-game season, he started each game and participated. He made a one-handed interception in a game against Stanford that made SportsCenter’s Top 10.

He had 156 tackles overall throughout his college career, including 9.5 tackles for a loss, 10 interceptions, three forced fumbles, and nine kickoff returns for 129 yards. He received a degree in American studies upon graduation. The Atlanta Falcons chose Hawkins with the 134th overall choice in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

The New York Jets selected Ashtyn Davis, his college teammate, with the 68th overall choice in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. On July 28, 2020, the Falcons placed him on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He was activated eight days later, in August 2020.
