Joan Adon, born Joan Manuel Adon plays professional baseball for the Washington Nationals baseball team. Joan plays as a pitcher for the team and has been with them since 2016.
He was born and raised in the Dominican Republic on August 12, 1998, in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. He played baseball as an amateur in his birth town in the Dominican Republic before he was signed by the Nationals as an international free agent in 2016.
Joan made his professional debut the following year after he was assigned to play with the Dominican Summer League Nationals in 2017. During the 2018 season minor league season, he was made to play for both the GCL Nationals and the Auburn Doubledays.
Joan spent 2019 with the Hagerstown Suns. In 2020, he was named to the team’s 60-man player pool and was added to the National’s 40-man roster after the season. For the 2021 minor league season, he played for the Wilmington Blue Rocks, the Harrisburg Senators and the Rochester Red Wings.
