That year, he made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast Tigers. He played with the Connecticut Tigers in 2014 and the West Michigan Whitecaps in 2015.

Jiménez was named the Tigers Minor League Pitcher of the Year after going 5–1 with a 1.47 ERA, 0.791 WHIP, and 17 saves in 40 appearances for West Michigan in 2015.

Jiménez pitched for the Lakeland Flying Tigers, Erie SeaWolves, and Toledo Mud Hens during the 2016 season. He pitched in the All-Star Futures Game in July.

Over 53+23 innings pitched, he had a 3–3 record with 30 saves, a 1.51 earned run average (ERA), 0.80 walks plus hits per inning pitched (WHIP), and a.144 batting average against with 78 strikeouts.
