Joseph Anthony Musgrove, an American professional baseball pitcher for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball, was born on December 4, 1992. (MLB). In the past, he has worked for the Toronto Blue Jays, Houston Astros, and Pittsburgh Pirates.
Musgrove was born in El Cajon, California, and began playing baseball when he was seven years old. During his junior year at Grossmont High School, he was a fantastic pitcher and batter, leading the team to two state championship appearances.
Musgrove, a first-round pick in the 2011 MLB Draft, has declined to sign with the Blue Jays. He had previously committed to San Diego State University to play baseball. Musgrove was traded to the Astros midway through the 2012 season as part of a ten-player deal.
