Joseph Philip Ryan is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Minnesota Twins of the United States.

In 1996, he was born on the fifth of June. (MLB). The Tampa Bay Rays chose him in the seventh round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft.

The former Sir Francis Drake High School in San Anselmo, California, now known as Archie Williams High School, was where Ryan obtained his secondary schooling. The San Francisco Giants drafted him in the 39th round of the 2014 MLB draft.

However, he chose to attend California State University, Northridge instead, where he played collegiate baseball. He played college baseball for the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2015 and 2016.

The league named him an all-star in 2016. The California State University system allowed him to transfer to Stanislaus State University in 2018.

A year later, on May 20, 2021, Ryan was officially added to the U.S. baseball squad in order for the country to compete in the baseball tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

On July 2, once the team’s qualification procedure was completed, he was added to the Olympic roster. Despite their best efforts, the squad came in second place, losing out to Japan for the gold medal.
