Berti participated in 2014 with the Double-A Eastern League’s New Hampshire Fisher Cats. After the regular season, he was given a spot in the Arizona Fall League, stole 38 bases, and was named an Eastern League All-Star.

Additionally, he achieved career highs in games played (136), home runs (7), and RBI (50). Berti participated in 20 games with the Mesa Solar Sox of the Arizona Fall League during the offseason.

He had a batting average of .292, 3 home runs, 8 RBI, and 6 stolen bases. He would split 2015 between the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons and New Hampshire.

He played in 103 games in all, batting .249 with 3 home runs, 34 RBI, and 23 stolen bases.

On January 12, 2016, Berti received an invitation to the Major Leagues’ spring training, and on March 10, he was transferred to a minor league camp.

On April 27, he was sent to Buffalo after beginning the season with New Hampshire. In 86 games overall, Berti hit.256 with four home runs, 33 RBI, and 36 stolen bases in 2016.

In 65 games in 2017, while playing for Buffalo and Dunedin, he hit.204 with three home runs, 20 RBI, and 24 stolen bases.

Berti was acquired by the Cleveland Indians organization in a trade on April 21, 2018, for cash. Before being moved back to the Blue Jays organization on June 8th, he played in 25 games for the Triple-A Columbus Clippers.
