Jonathan India is an American professional baseball infielder for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Delray Beach, Florida’s American Heritage School provided India with an education. To avoid signing with Milwaukee Brewers, he attended the University of Florida and played collegiate baseball for the Gators baseball club, where he was selected in the 26th round of the 2015 MLB Draft.

In 2016, India had a.303 batting average, a.367 OBP, and a.440 SLG, with four home runs and 40 runs batted in as a freshman at the University of Florida (RBI).



First Team All-SEC First Team All-Freshman by Louisville Slugger and the Southeastern Conference. For the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League after his freshman year in Florida, India hit 18-for-62 (.290) with seven doubles and four RBIs.

This season, he hit six home runs and drove in 34 runs while playing on Florida’s 2017 College World Series-winning team as a sophomore. Due to an arm injury, he was sidelined for a portion of the season’s beginning.
