Kongbo re-signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for a single season in June 2021, it was revealed.
He agreed to a reserve/future contract with the NFL’s Denver Broncos in January 2022. On October 6, 2022, he received a promotion to the active roster. On October 11, he was released and re-signed to the practice squad.
