Jonathan Ledbetter Injured: What Happened To Jonathan Ledbetter?

Jonathan Leroy Ledbetter is a defensive end in American football. He is currently with the Arizona Cardinals in the National Football League.



He was born on September 12, 1997. He lettered in football at the University of Georgia. Ledbetter was a member of the Georgia Bulldogs football team for four seasons.

In his junior season, he played in 15 games and recorded 38 tackles, 5.5 for losses and 2.5 sacks (11 starts). During his senior year, he led all defensive linemen at Georgia with 56 tackles and finished second on the team with 6.5 tackles for loss.



He was named to the All-Southeastern Conference First Team. Coaches from each school in the Southeastern Conference voted him to the second team of All-SEC.

On April 27, 2019, Ledbetter became a member of the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent after signing with the team.

On September 8, 2019, he made his first start in the National Football League against the Baltimore Ravens, which ended in a 59-10 loss for his team.

On September 12, 2019, he was placed on injured reserve, and on April 21, 2020, he was waived with a non-football injury designation after being on injured reserve.

On August 31, 2021, the Dolphins made the decision to release Ledbetter from their roster. On April 27, 2019, Ledbetter became a member of the Miami Dolphins after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent.

He went on to make the team right out of training camp. Ledbetter made his first appearance in the National Football League on September 8, 2019, against the Baltimore Ravens.

He started the game at the defensive end and made four tackles, including a combined sack. On September 12, 2019, he was transferred to the injured reserve list.

On April 21, 2020, he was released from the team with a non-football injury designation. The following day, he was placed back on the team’s reserve/non-football injury list.

What Happened To Jonathan Ledbetter?

Since Ledbetter’s debut with the Dolphins in 2019, he has been hampered by an ankle injury. However, there is not current injury to report at this time.
