Where Is Jonathan Ledbetter From?

Jonathan Ledbetter is from Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Ledbetter spent his childhood in Tucker, Georgia, and graduated from the local high school there.

As a football player in high school, most scouting agencies ranked him among the top ten defensive ends in his class, and he was chosen to participate in the 2015 Under Armour All-America Game.

Ledbetter made a verbal commitment to play college football for the University of Alabama, but then withdrew his pledge and elected to play for the University of Georgia instead.

After high school, Ledbetter attended the University of Georgia and played for the Georgia Bulldogs for four seasons.

He missed the first six games of the season due to an off-field issue, but returned to the starting lineup in his sophomore year, recording 24 tackles and a sack in seven games.

While helping lead Georgia to the Playoff National Championship Game as a junior, he recorded 38 tackles (5.5 for loss) and 2.5 sacks in 15 games (11 starts).
