Jonathan Loáisiga Parents: Who Are Jonathan Loáisiga Parents?

Jonathan Stanley Loáisiga Estrada, a pitcher with the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball, is a native of Nicaragua. In 2018, he made his Major League Baseball debut.

In September of 2012, the Giants signed international free agent Loáisiga to a contract. With the DSL Giants in 2013, he made his professional debut with an 8–1 record with a 2.75 earned run average (ERA) and 1.11 WHIP in 13 games started.

To avoid further injury, he did not throw for the Giants in 2014 and 2015 and was released in May 2015.



 

He joined the Yankees in February of this year. In the first game of his new season, he was forced to have Tommy John surgery after injuring his elbow.

They put him on their 40-man roster at season’s end. Since then, he’s thrown for the GCL Yankees and Staten Island Yankees, compiling a 1–1 record and 1.38 earned run average in 11 starts for both teams in 2017.
