Defensive tackle Jordan Davis plays for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He is 1.98 meters tall and weighs 152 kilograms. He previously attended Hopewell High School before moving to Mallard Creek High School, where he started his football career as a junior.

Over offers from other universities, he opted to play collegiate football at Georgia. For the University of Georgia’s Georgia Bulldogs, he played collegiate football. He started all 11 of his games as a true freshman and finished with 25 tackles and 1.5 sacks, earning him a spot on the SEC All-Freshman team and the Football Writers Association of America’s Freshman All-American designation.

As a sophomore, he made 18 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. He had 16 tackles and a sack during the COVID-19 shortened 2020 season, and he guided his team to victory in the 2021 Peach Bowl. His best season was as a senior, when he registered 32 tackles, 2 sacks, and a running score.

The 13th overall pick in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft went to the Philadelphia Eagles, who then picked Davis. After the draft, he settled on a four-year, $17 million deal with the Eagles, the entire sum of which was guaranteed. The pact also included a $9.55 million signing bonus.
