Jordan Holloway, born Jordan Lee Holloway is an American-born professional baseball player. He plays as a pitcher for the Miami Marlins baseball team. He is 1.98 m tall and weighs 104 kg. He earns an annual salary of $570,500 from the Marlins.
He was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the 2014 MLB draft. He agreed to play for them and signed instead of going to college to play baseball. The Marlins assigned him to start his professional career that season with the Gulf Coast League Marlins. In the 2015 minor league season, he spent the beginning of the year with the Greensboro Grasshoppers and was later made to play for the Batavia Muckdogs where he was named a New York-Penn League All-Star.
The Marlins assigned him in 2016 to play with both Greensboro Grasshoppers and Batavia Muckdogs. He played for Greensboro the whole of the 2017 minor league season. He made it to Marlin’s 40-man roster after the 2018 season and spent the 2019 season with the Jupiter Hammerheads where he was awarded the Florida State League All-Star honours.
The Marlins selected his contract and promoted him to the major leagues in July 2020. He made his MLB debut for the Marlins on July 26 2020 when they played against the Philadelphia Phillies.
