Jordan Poyer, also known as Jordan Lynn-Baxter Poyer, is a member of the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills. He participated in football for Astoria High School. He contributed to the state titles of the football and baseball teams as a freshman and a senior, respectively.

He attended at Oregon State University after finishing high school, where he played football for the Beavers from 2009 to 2012. He participated in 13 games as a true freshman in 2009 and made 11 tackles. He played cornerback the next season, compiling 34 tackles and 1,109 all-purpose yards.

In the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles picked Poyer. A four-year, $2.22 million contract with a $60,256 signing bonus was agreed upon between Poyer and the Eagles in May 2013. He was taken off waivers by the Cleveland Browns in October 2013. He recorded a season-high six solo tackles against the New England Patriots in Week 14 of that year’s December, a 27-26 loss.

He signed a four-year, $13 million contract with the Buffalo Bills in March 2017. He and the Bills agreed to an additional two years of his contract in March 2020. In January 2022, Poyer received his first selection to an All-Pro team as a professional.
