Jordan Stout is a professional placekicker and punter for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens. He stands 1.91 meters tall and weighs 95 kilos. He was raised in Honaker, Virginia, and went to Honaker High School.
He averaged 47 yards on each punt as a senior, making all nine of his field goal attempts, giving him the distinction of Tigers team MVP. He was three times selected for All-State as kicker. He attended the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University after high school and played football for the Virginia Tech Hokies from 2017 to 2018.
He redshirted his first year of eligibility as a walk-on. He was a kickoff specialist as a redshirt freshman with 60 touchbacks on 71 kickoff attempts. After the season, he made the decision to transfer to Penn State, where he had received an athletic scholarship, and he registered on the NCAA transfer website.
From 2019 to 2021, he was a football player for the Penn State Nittany Lions. Prior to the start of his redshirt senior season, he was chosen as Penn State’s kicker, making him the first man since Chris Bahr in 1975 to be in charge of the team’s kickoffs, field goals, and punts. In the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, he was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens.
