He spent all four years of his college career playing football at Tennessee. During his time at college, Williams participated in a total of 44 games, 21 of which he started, and recorded a total of 66 tackles and 6.5 sacks.
After not being selected in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, he signed with the New York Jets and was a member of the team’s practice squad until he was let go in September of the same year.
After that, the Miami Dolphins signed him, and he was with the team for a while, serving on both the practice squad and the regular roster before being cut in September of 2016.
