Josh Ball is an American football offensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He played college football at Marshall.
During his time as a student at Florida State University in 2018, it was anticipated that he would start the season at right tackle for the Seminoles.
However, on May 21, 2018, he was handed a one-year suspension from the school after being accused of dating violence against his ex-girlfriend.
He made the decision to transfer to Butler Community College, where he was immediately given the starting position at left tackle, despite the fact that he was never charged with any wrongdoing.
In 2019, he made the decision to switch schools and enroll at Marshall University rather than go back to Florida State University.
As a junior, he was an important reserve on the offensive line of the team, and he played in 13 games, including one game in which he started, which was against Western Kentucky University.
