On April 25, 2020, Hammond became a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent after signing with the team.



During the final roster cuts, which took place on September 6, 2021, he was released from the team and re-signed to the practice squad the following day.

During the 2020 season, Hammond served as a member of the Jaguars’ practice squad. On January 4, 2021, he signed a reserve/future contract with the Jaguars.



The Jaguars released him at the conclusion of training camp on August 31, 2021, but he was re-signed to the practice squad of the team shortly after.

On December 26, 2a021, Hammond was added to the active roster of the team for their Week 16 game against the New York Jets. He made his debut in the National Football League (NFL) during that game.

On January 10, 2022, he put his signature on a reserve/future contract. On May 16, 2022, his eligibility was terminated.

On May 17, the Philadelphia Eagles picked up Hammond after he had been released by Jacksonville Jaguars. On July 26, 2022, he was released from his obligations.

Hammond got a contract to play with the New England Patriots on July 28th, 2022.
